ABOUT US

First Peoples Venture Capital Corp

First Peoples Venture Capital Corp is a private company specializing in raising money to invest in Indigenous Projects and Capital Assets. We specialize in helping Nations with the acquisition of successful businesses and real estate.

We are interested in talking with Indigenous business groups who are looking to invest money to acquire businesses, real estate developments and vacant land.

We recently created Indigenous Procurement Partners Limited Partnership with the goal of having First Nations join the partnership and bid on federal, territorial and provincial procurement opportunities. We are monitoring all Canadian government tenders and RFPs to look for opportunities for the partnership. This also presents opportunities for industry organizations to partner with First Nations and go after government procurement contracts.

EXPERTISE

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

We have a vast network of industry contacts which allows us to maintain a very diverse portfolio of businesses, real estate and land currently for sale. We aim to help our indigenous and industry clients connect whether they wish to buy or sell businesses and real estate.

EXPERIENCE

Marketing

In order to reach out to a large audience of Indigenous communities and industry sectors, we recently partnered with Indigenous Marketplace, Canada’s #1 Indigenous/Industry networking conference business. Indigenous Marketplace’s NABOC event series is legendary, having attracted over 20,000 delegates, 2,500 exhibitors and 1,500 different sponsors since 2010. Through Indigenous Marketplace conferences and workshops we are able to find the best opportunities for our Indigenous and industry clients to collaborate.

INTEGRITY

We have Indigenous renewable energy projects that can help you achieve your carbon offset goals and provide a healthy return on your investment.

For ESG investors, we can help you put your money to work in Indigenous projects that have a positive net impact on the environment and society. Our investment team strives to demonstrate excellence in corporate governance and helps corporations improve their SLOs (social license to operate).

INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES PORTFOLIO

Facilitating the Sale and Acquisition of Businesses and Real Estate

Many Nations are interested in expanding their business portfolios by acquiring existing, successful businesses or real estate, either close to their reserve lands, or in other parts of Canada.

We have assisted in many business and real estate purchases and can offer support to Nations wishing to buy businesses, vacant land, property and/or business assets.

With our extensive network of industry contacts, we are continually made aware of good businesses that may be for sale across a very diverse range of industry sectors.

For companies wishing to sell and/or create partnerships with First Nations, we can assist with matching your requirements with Nations across Canada.
